Armani Eyewear has a new special sunglasses design to celebrate its 20th anniversary. Evoking a slight Lennon vibe, the limited edition glasses are an updated version of one of Armani’s early designs and feature white goldtone palladium, rounded gray/green lenses, and curved arms. Each pair is engraved with its edition number of 0001 – 1000 on the inside by the temple and comes in a specially marked “Anniversary Editon”. They cost 700 euro.

Ford had been working for fifteen years as Gucci’s creative director, doing an excellent work. In 2004 he left Gucci and he created his own brand.
When a firm has been just created or you want to relaunch it, the best thing to do is to produce a sunglasses collection because it’s the product that gives more visibility to the brand (the second is the perfume). If a manager wants to keep a brand to an high level he needs to work with excellent collaborators and to give personality to the glasses.
Tom Ford collection is produced by Marcolin and and they are really expensive…but why people should spend so many money to buy sunglasses?Because they want to be different from the mass, they want to wear exlusive sunglasses as they want luxury bags,dresses or cars. That’s why Tom Ford created a limited edition too,even more expensive.
